Airtel Metropolis Half Task kicked started on Sunday morning at the Jawaharlal Solon Arena. Celebrities like Monarch Rukh Khan, Bipasha Basu, Rajan Mittal, Rakesh Mittal, and others flagged off the labor at 7.10am. Not to accolade here that some runners halted to get their pictures clicked with SRK and Bipasha in the scenery. SRK kept requesting them,

Mika drops Katrina from song

Controversial singer Mika has dropped Katrina Kaif’s name from a song from the movie ‘Loot’ as he does not want to rub shoulder with his best buddy Salman Khan. He knew that Salman will take it in wrong sense on listening the song and so before things go wrong, he dropped Kat’s name from the song.

The line went ‘Sun Meri Katrina Mera London Jana China’. Apparently, the song from the copic caper includes many well known personalities from the filmworld and one of them was Katrina Kaif.

Says a source, "Mika has been excited about the track. He thinks it will be as well received as his Ae Ganpat and the recent Dhinka Chikha numbers. But after recording it, he felt he needed to remove Katrina's name. He considers himself to be a good pal of Salman, and decided to change the name from Katrina to Jacklina as it was a similar rhyming name."

Adds the source, "Salman and Mika share a good relationship and all their songs together have been popular. Saari Duniya Mere Ispe is a fun Bollywood masala song and as Mika respects Salman, he decided to give it a pass and changed the name for the sake of his friendship with the star."

Ranbir throws birthday bash for Nargis

Ranbir Kapoor has made his ‘Rockstar’ actress Nargis Fakhri happy by throwing a mid-air birthday party while flying to Nagpur. Nargis had least idea that Ranbir has made all the arrangements in the flight thus converting the flight into birthday hall with Nargis favorite chocolate cake and gifts.

A source informs, “Everyone knew it was her birthday and at Mumbai airport she was wished but she had no inkling of the mid-air drama.”

Nargis was touched when Ranbir, producer Hiren Gandhi and singer Mohit Chauhan sang ‘Happy Birthday’ song for her.

When enquired, Nargis confirmed the news and said, “I was overwhelmed and emotional while cutting the cake! It was great of Ranbir.”

Saif to be crowned the 10th Nawab of Pataudi

After the death of Nawab Masur Ali Khan Pataudi, the residents of Pataudi wanted his son Saif Ali Khan to be crowned as the 10th Nawab and take the place of his father and continue the family tradition of the royalty.

Very soon the ceremony will be taken place at Pataudi where Saif would be crowned the next Nawab.

A source revealed, “The people of the princely state were keen to crown their chote nawab. Princely states were abolished in 1971, and Mansoor Ali Khan was the last nawab who reigned from 1952 till 1971. For purely sentimental reasons, the people of Pataudi wanted Saif to be the crowned nawab.”

Apparently, Saif is reluctant to step into his Mansoor’s shoes. For Saif, the title of nawab is an outdated as he said, “And also, I would like to remember my father as the last nawab of Pataudi.”

“These titles are no longer recognised by the government. And rightly so, if you ask. But the people in our villages are sentimental about these things. The ceremony is more of a family tradition and hugely symbolic for the people of Pataudi. The event will take place in Pataudi, of course. It is scheduled for the end of this month, 40 days after father passed away.” added Saif.

Talking about his new responsibilities as the nawab of Pataudi, Saif said, “Being crowned the nawab means taking care of my father’s estate, our ancestral home and the trust. More importantly, I will have to continue the work he was doing for the villagers. I have to look after the eye hospital and other charitable institutions father was managing.”

Salman Khan returns to Bigg Boss!

With Salman Khan returning to co-host the Aapka Farmaan episode of Bigg Boss with Sanjay Dutt, it would be interesting to see, if his ‘good friend’ Mahek Chahal can get away with her new-found arrogance on the reality show.

Ever since her nomination this week, Salman’s girl has been unnecessarily fighting and arguing with most contestants in the House. This week, she dramatically attacked new Housemate Siddharth Bhardwaj over petty issues and patched up with him later.

“Whether it is her ego or insecurity, Mahek is surely being unreasonable and coming across as artificial; just like Pooja Bedi. She may be doing all this to save herself from the eviction. But she needn’t worry about that when she has Salman Khan’s influential hand over her,” says a source.

Some time ago, it came to be known that the Norway-based Mahek is special to Salman. It was revealed that the superstar not only recommended her name for his earlier films Wanted and Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, but also for Bigg Boss.

According to reports, when Mahek got a call from the makers of Bigg Boss, she had already packed her bags and readied herself for the show, assuming that no one could ever refuse Salman’s recommendation. She was right!

Now, whether Mahek is getting too big for her boots is not as important as the bigger question: Can the Salman connection save her from eviction? The other five Housemates nominated this week include Pooja Misrra, Raageshwari, Juhi Parmar, Amar Upadhyay and Shonali Nagrani, while Pooja Bedi, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, Shradha Sharma, Mandeep Bevli, Vida Samadzai and Shakti Kapoor are safe for the time being.

Bipasha Basu's in love with Greece

Actress Bipasha Basu, who is in Greece for a film shoot, says she had a blast in an island named Mykonos. She loved its relaxed feel, food and shopping.

"Leaving Mykonos and nw off to Athens! Had d best time ever! Mykonos is just my kinda place! Ocean, sun, beaches, music and very relaxed and friendly people (sic)," tweeted Bipasha.

She couldn't stop raving about the place.

"...And how can I forget the sea food and the yummiest cheese crepes! Shopping here is also very my style - maxis and cute dresses in floral prints or whites and beads and all kinds of beautiful bracelets!" she added.

John and Bipasha brave the gossip storm

In past few weeks, an obituary of the time-tested relationship between John Abraham and Bipasha Basu has been written in the media.

But the lovebirds seem to be soaring above the hail of media gossip and rumour.



It is not for the first time that the relationship between John and Bipasha has come under media scrutiny. But never before have the couple been assailed by barrage of such gossiptalk that actually began to sound convincing after some time.

First, Bipasha's friendship with Saif Ali Khan became the grist for gossip mills. Bipasha's visits to Saif's house, their dinner-outs together and all this in the absence of John gave rise to immense speculation that the Bengali belle was moving away from John and getting attracted towards Saif.

Gossip- Bipasha’s Taj moment

Bipasha Basu fulfilled her long cherished dream while shooting for her Hollywood film “Singularity” – she visited Taj Mahal while working for the movie.

“When Taj Mahal was announced one of the (new) seven wonders of the world in Portugal, I was the one who had made the announcement. It was my wish to see it, but never got a chance. Finally, travelling for the shoot of this film gave me the opportunity. We went to see it. Although it was very hot, but I enjoyed the experience to the hilt,” Bipasha told.
